    CONVERSATIONS ON THE JOURNEY TO JERSULALEM

       

    Lent begins on the 1st march.  Join us on a journey through Lent.    

    Each day throughout Lent, the team at the Diocese will send and email with:

    A bible reading from Luke which leads us through Jesus' journey towards Easter

    A reflection from a different member of our diocesan family.

    40 Days / 40 Voices gives us the opportunity to look together at each day's text with fresh eyes.     THE WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER IS BEING HELD ON FRIDAY 3RD MARCH AT WILLESBOROUGH CHURCH.  WE WILL HAVE TEA AND CAKES AT 3.30PM FOLLOWED BY A SHORT SERVICE AT 4PM, TO CELEBRATE THE CULTURE OF THE PHILIPPINES, BUT ALSO TO RAISE WARENESS OF THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CHALLENGES MANY WOMEN FACE.                       MEN ARE WARMLY ENCOURAGED TO COME ALONG!

    A brand new Community Youth group  'SMART' for year 6 and above was opened last night by Ashford Mayor George Koowaree at St Mary's Willesborough.  The opening night was well attended and as well as giving the new club a name, everyone had great fun!

    ​The club will run every other week on a Tuesday, between 7 - 9 pm.

    Drinks and snacks available from the Tuck Shop. Entry is £1.

    Do come and have fun and make new friends.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    To all Pokemon Go players, St. Mary's  church Willesborough is a Pokemon Gym. Come and test your skills, meet other fanatics and buy refreshments at the inSpire cafe, which is open Monday to Saturday 08.45 till 12.30 !!

  • The local church team of Willesborough with Sevington covers a large geographical area to the southwest of Ashford town centre and includes the William Harvey Hospital, Pilgrims Hospice, Willesborough Windmill,  Willesborough Infants and Junior Schools, East Stour Primary School, The Ashford Nursing Home, Sevington Mill Care Home and Ashminster House Nursing Home. Links to all of these organisations on the website.

    The churches of St.Mary's Willesborough and St.Mary's Sevington are part of the Deanery of Ashford which in turn is part of the Diocese of Canterbury, a Diocese of the Church of England again links to all of these can be found on the website.

    The church has a variety of services that take place in both the Parish churches of St Mary Sevington and St Mary the Virgin Willesborough. Our main Sunday worship service is 10am at St Mary the Virgin Willesborough.
